Pelvic Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Build your specialty in Pelvic Health at 3DPT. Develop advanced skills, work alongside experienced PTs, and help grow an expanding PT/PTA Pelvic Health program.
PELVIC HEALTH PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT
Develop a Specialty. Make an Impact. Help Grow Pelvic Health at 3DPT.
3D Physical Therapy is expanding our Pelvic Health program, and we're looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant who wants more than a traditional orthopedic PTA position.
This is an opportunity to develop specialized skills in pelvic health while working closely with experienced Physical Therapists in a collaborative PT/PTA care model. You'll help patients navigate some of their most personal and meaningful healthcare journeys while developing expertise in a growing area of physical therapy.
BECOME PART OF A SPECIALTY PT/PTA TEAM
At 3DPT, we're developing a team-based approach to Pelvic Health that combines the expertise of the evaluating Physical Therapist with the ongoing clinical skills and patient relationships of a specially trained PTA.
You'll work closely with our Pelvic Health PTs to provide coordinated care for patients with conditions including:
Pelvic floor dysfunction
Pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation
Pelvic and lumbopelvic pain
Pre- and postnatal musculoskeletal conditions
Women's orthopedic and sports-related conditions
Post-surgical rehabilitation
DEVELOP YOUR PELVIC HEALTH EXPERTISE
You don't need to know everything about pelvic health on day one.
We're looking for a PTA with a strong clinical foundation and a genuine desire to develop expertise in this specialty. Through mentorship, continuing education, and hands-on collaboration with our Pelvic Health PTs, you'll have the opportunity to progressively build your knowledge and skills.
As part of the program, you'll:
Deliver individualized treatments under the Physical Therapist's established plan of care
Apply therapeutic exercise, movement-based treatment, manual techniques, and patient education appropriate to the plan of care
Develop specialized knowledge in pelvic health and related musculoskeletal conditions
Monitor patient response and communicate closely with the supervising PT
Educate, encourage, and empower patients throughout their recovery
Collaborate with the Pelvic Health team to provide a coordinated patient experience
Participate in ongoing specialty education and professional development
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is excited about developing a specialty, not simply filling a PTA position.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current or eligible Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license
Strong interest in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
Orthopedic experience or clinical foundation preferred
Previous pelvic health training is a plus, but a commitment to specialty development is equally important
We're especially interested in someone who is compassionate, collaborative, self-motivated, comfortable working with a specialized patient population, and committed to continued learning.
HELP US GROW SOMETHING
Pelvic Health is an important area of growth for 3DPT.
As our program expands, we envision coordinated Pelvic Health PT/PTA teams helping provide these services across our locations. That creates an opportunity for the right PTA to grow alongside the program and become an important part of its future.
For someone who demonstrates strong clinical skills, leadership, and commitment to the specialty, that growth may create opportunities to mentor others and take on additional responsibilities within the Pelvic Health program.
